Elite Function (EF) is a Chiropractic clinic that aims to provide quality care and treatment for musculoskeletal conditions. These include physical pain disorders pertaining to muscles, bones, joints, ligaments and tendons. Common conditions we treat are neck pain, headaches, back pain, shoulder pain, hip pain, knee pain and ankle pain. Here at EF we understand that each person is different and thus tailor each session to the unique individual. The modalities of treatment that we may use during the session include the chiropractic adjustment, joint mobilization, soft tissue therapy (massage), trigger point therapy and instrument assisted.
Steps to Elite Function
Treat It
Find the problem and treat it with the appropriate modality (Chiropractic adjustment, soft tissue therapy, joint mobilization, trigger point therapy etc)
Move It
With new found mobility it is important to sustain it with functional stretching and movement exercise.
Stabilize It
Injury and a sedentary lifestyle may affect certain muscles. Having muscles strengthened and working optimally helps provide robust integrity to joints.
About
Dr Joel Lim graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor of Health Science (Chiropractic) and Master of Clinical Chiropractic degree in 2015. Since graduating Joel has worked as a chiropractor at Knox Health and Sports Clinic and in 2021 became the principal Chiropractor at Elite Function. Joel is passionate about helping people get out of pain and optimizing their body system to functioning at an elite level.
